Walnut Room Anniversary Pics

Posted by Sonny James under Philly

What a night! If the other nights during The Walnut Room‘s 5 year anniversary week went as well as Saturday night did, then the other DJs should feel as blessed as I did when me and Tony Touch rocked for  a packed room of folks sweating it out all night. Once Toca played The Jeffersons theme song and the crowd was singing it back, I was done. Great times. Every Saturday we get down so don’t miss out. And come early as we reach capacity on a weekly basis.

TONY TOUCH on Saturday!

Posted by Sonny James under DJs, Philly

I will be posting my SXSW and Little Giant birthday party photos as soon as I get an extra minute.  I apologize for the delay. Especially to those of you who are in the photos and waiting to see them. I gotchu!

Please take a minute to check out the latest episode of The Difference Show. It’s brand new for your listening pleasure with a bunch of joints to set off your WMC right! I’m so jealous that I’m not in Miami with a lot of you.

For the rest of you all that didn’t make it there and are sitting around in Philly, please make sure you don’t miss out on The Walnut Room‘s 5th Anniversary events this week.  Saturday night, the homie DJ Tony Touch will be down from NYC courtesy of Rock Steady Crew. It’s gonna be quite a jam. Everytime I get the chance to rock with him, it’s bananas, from Norway to Atlanta to NYC, it goes down consistently so don’t sleep.

WALNUT ROOM 5 Year Anniversary

Posted by Sonny James under DJs, Philly

Okay, here’s where I make the request that you all be in the house. Starting this coming Sunday, we begin celebrating 5 years of The Walnut Room in Philadelphia all week. A bunch of special events are planned that are all gonna be bananas. Sunday night, I’ll be returning from SXSW to rock with Rich Medina, Questlove, and King Britt for Little Giant‘s Birthday party. It’s been a while since we all played together in any city so I’m looking forward to this one. Next Saturday, DJ Tony Touch comes in from NYC to join me on the wheels to wrap up the entire week of festivities. Expect to sweat out every strand of hair on this night. Thanks for rocking with me this past year and change on Saturdays and for supporting a dope venue since it opened 5 years ago. This is our way of saying we appreciate your support. Rock on…
