Hezekiah joins us for our November 2010 episode of ill! TV. We filmed him, Mr. Sonny James, and the crew during a performance at Brooklyn Bowl with Talib Kweli and Peedi Crakk. Hezekiah performs an unreleased song as well as discusses Conscious Porn as his last hip-hop album, how he felt Fat Beats dropped the ball on distributing the project, his relationship with other well known artists from Philly, and more.

So if you’re on the east coast and experiencing this heap of snow we’ve been getting nonstop, I know you’re just as over it as I am. Seriously. Why wasn’t I born and raised in Hawaii? I’m tired of shoveling and sweeping show, scraping ice, and seeing my breath outdoors. Spring can’t come fast enough for the kid. For me, the weather change as well as us wrapping up this Illvibe production album has me excited for the warmer months.  Last week I was a guest on the Living Proof Radio Show on Volta Radio. Shout out to Mars 5ive and DJ Ambush for inviting me to be on and showing us mad love on the regular.  I had a blast and can’t wait to come back.

A soulful mix, lately, has been harder to find than a 2 legged unicorn doin the cha cha slide with a No Bitchassness T-Shirt on.  Thankfully, the homie Nova Slim, formally of Soul Bounce laced me with this Java Blend Mix to get me through hours of cleaning up in the studio tonight.
