What’s up y’all. Just a headsup. You can find the homie Mr. Lif on MTV.com. The video for The SUN is now on the site and will be running on the air shortly. Catch a peak of it right here.
Also, tonight, check out the homie and my big bro, Rich Medina at Fluid for the somewhat monthly Jump N Funk party. This party has traveled all over the country and we never know when it will return home to Philly for good so be sure to check it and bring your comfortable sneakers. You’ll be getting down all night. Word to big bird.
Finally, tomorrow, I’m back at The Walnut Room for my weekly situation. Be there and sweat with us. However, if you plan to request “Turn My Swag On” maybe, you should sit this one out. Thanks.

I had plans to update so much more from the road but we’ve literally had a show every night of this leg of the I Heard It Today Tour. It’s been a lot of fun and we have tons of memories but unfortunately almost no pictures. I was in such a hurry to get my stuff packed, I misplaced my camera. There is a bunch of footage on youtube though. Like this clip here.
We’re in Chicago today and in Detroit tomorrow so I’m looking forward to catching up with a bunch of friends and family. Back in Philly after this weekend and back to work. Can’t wait to catch up with everyone.

What a birthday week! I’ve been on a marathon of events. From my soiree in NYC with Veronica to rocking for Rich Medina at APT while he recovered in bed to the Arts Piazza opening in Philly to Electric Soul with J Boogie to my return to the Walnut Room and more, I’ve been going nonstop. Now I’m back on the road with Lif. Last night I did a special set with Metro at the Knitting Factory in NYC which was the last date on the 10 date Grieves & Budo tour from the west coast to the east coast. I love that so many of my people are mad busy right now. Time to get it in. There will be pics of all of this past week’s activities posted real soon. I’ve been in transit so much I haven’t had time to collect my thoughts. Let alone pics from various cameras. In the meantime, take a peak at a few pics from the 1st leg of the I Heard It Today Tour.

I’m back from SXSW and I must say as overwhelming as it was, the trip was mad fun. I barely had time to get to most of the performances and DJ sets I wanted to hear. A Big Thanks to the folks who attended the Billboard Showcase we did on Friday night as well as everyone who rocked with us at The Back Alley Social Club on Saturday. It was nice to see so many familiar faces from across the country in one place ready to hear some dope music. And thanks also to everyone who passed off promo CDs. I have joints to listen to for the next couple of weeks so Big Up.
Here’s a lil promo for y’all too.
My man Mr. Lif’s album will be out next month (April 21, 2009 to be exact). And for those of you who ran into us in Austin, you may have gotten the I Heard It Today Mixtape mixed by yours truly. We had some fun making that joint for y’all. For those of you who didn’t get a copy, here’s the new single from the album.
Enjoy. Share this with your DJ pals and other music lovers.
I’ll post pics from the trip soon. I intended to film footage for ill! TV but it just didn’t pan out that way unfortunately. I’ll have a much better plan of action for the festival next year and make it happen. Also, don’t expect to see us at WMC this week as we will not be making it this year. I have way too much prepping to do for the tour I have coming up starting in a couple weeks.
Please check out the 50th episode of The Difference for some good tunes to get y’all in motion for all the dancing you’ll do if you are making the trek to Miami for the conference this year. Enjoy the fun, sun, and buns. Ha!
