Peace to everyone who came through to the Walnut Room this past Saturday and rocked out with DJ Supreme La Rock and myself. When damn near the whole club was singing Computer Love, I knew we were having a dope party. I heard Rich rocked it at Tasty Treats as well. This week, you can catch me at LPR in NYC with Rich Medina, Hezekiah, Akalepse, and J. Rocc. If you’re in town, come through and hear the Conscious Porn album. It’s not out until October but you can get a sneak peak on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, I won’t be making it to the Atlanta date tomorrow night but if you’re in the A, be sure to support my mans and them.

My homeboy Hezekiah has been pouring his heart and soul into his latest album Conscious Porn all year. It is scheduled to be released in the next couple of months. I forget the actual date but I do know that it’s his best work yet. The haters will soon have no choice but to give credit where it’s due. This dude is super talented. He even edits his own album video trailers.

The first single, Fired Up! features Talib Kweli and Bahamadia. I’ve already heard DJ Touch Tone play it on the radio and I heard Funk Master Flex just added it to his record pool in New York. Big things this year. Not to mention the dates in Rio and Sao Paulo in a few weeks. It’s on like movie popcorn. Bong!

Here’s one of the latest videos I appeared in. It’s a short cameo but the video is dope. Directed by Hezekiah and featuring a lot of familiar faces in Philly’s nightlife and hip hop club scene. Even though there was snow galore on the ground, we had lots of fun shooting this video for Reef The Lost Cauze and Ethel Cee. Peep it here…

Right now I’m in Thessaloniki, Greece. Just left Budapest tonight and played in Ljubljana, Slovenia last night. Made a bunch of new friends already. Always love in Europe. Only here for a couple more days and then back to work at home for a couple weeks. Then out again to South America. Catch up with y’all soon!

Trocadero Show Tonight

Last night, I DJ’d the Philly 360 Reception for The GPMTC. Among the honorees for 2010 are Marsha Ambrosius, Ursula Rucker, Writtenhouse, Marc Byers, Nikki Jean and several others. Glad to see artists and entrepreneurs in Philly being recognized for their hard work and talent.

Tonight we rock at The Trocadero. I’m performing with Hezekiah, Mos Def, De La Soul, Slick, Rick, and Pete Rock. I feel privileged to have a lineup like this in Philly and mad people from all over the world have hit me up asking how they can see a lineup like this in their town. Let’s keep our fingers crossed on making that a reality sometime later this year. I believe the show is sold out already so if you managed to get your ticket, be sure to get there early enough to get a good spot and see our full show. It’s gonna be a fun night!

Last night, I rocked in NYC at SOBs with Bahamadia, Hezekiah, and Invincible for Statik Selektah’s Album Release Party. Everyone was there from DJ Premier to Styles P to Buckshot, to Freeway. Quite a party. By the time, M.O.P. jumped on stage, I was done and ready to have a fork stuck in me. No love to homeboy who was on stage yelling at the crowd to tuck their chains in out of respect for his crew. Apparently, Freddy Foxx put a silence to that rhetoric minutes later.

Tonight, I’ll be guest DJing on the Living Proof Radio Show with Mars and DJ Ambush. Be sure to tune in from 10pm-12am on Volta Radio.

I plan to play plenty of exclusives for y’all to vibe out to. Shout out to the homie DJ Boogie Blind (X-Men) as well, DJing on Beatminerz Radio today from 6pm-8pm. He was rocking it last night until he was rudely interrupted by homie who got his face checked by Bumpy Knuckles. Such is life…
