DJ Ultraviolet has been a close friend to Illvibe for many years. She has played several parties with me, she’s done our radio show, and of course our classic BODYROCK party. Here’s her episode of BODYROCK Stories.

The official Philly album release for our All Together Now project is tonight @ Silk City. We cannot wait to see y’all faces in the place and feel your energy as we celebrate the release of our debut album! Joining us tonight on the turntables is DJs Ultraviolet and Foxx Boogie and a laundry list of guest performers from the album. Details below. Come early as we have a limited quantity of physical CDs which is included in the admission price.

Tonight do not miss out as Bee Eater and Flygirrl bring you another dope party in their “We Love” series. At Silk City tonight, the homie, Mike Nyce and I pay tribute to The Native Tongue Crew mixing up tunes from A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Queen Latifah, Black Sheep, Jungle Brothers and more. Wednesday night was a classic night in Philly.  So many friends and family came out to Heineken Green Room and witnessed Black Thought, Meek Millz, Dice Raw, Porn, Hezekiah, TuPhace, DJ No Phrillz, myself and more show y’all how it’s done. It was one of my favorite memories of playing Silk City. So epic. To those of you in the area that didn’t gain access, there will be more Heineken events next year for you to enjoy. Stay tuned. In other news, the homie, DJ Ultraviolet was recently interviewed on Phrequency.com and gave her top ten list of Philly’s Movers and Shakers of 2009.  Among, Stacey Flygirrl Wilson, DJ Skeme Richards, DJ Sammy Slice, and others, I moseyed my way onto the list. I hear Philly is expecting a hellafied snow storm this weekend so if you’re out and about, bundle up! We plan to rock and shock at the Walnut Room tomorrow night for our regular Saturday get down. Always mad fun. If anything changes due to weather, I’ll update you here and on Twitter.
