One love to Fatin, Aja, Bilal, Hez, and the crew. Sorry I couldn’t make the shoot. Video came out dope though. Great work!

Since day one, I’ve been involved with The Beat Society producer showcase which has become internationally known for giving up and coming producers a platform to sell beats to platinum selling artists meanwhile allowing them to showcase skill and versatility to the music industry. For most of the shows in the United States, I’ve been the opening DJ, setting the vibe and getting everyone in the house ready to hear some boom bap hip-hop joints. It’s been an honor to be apart of the event that started it all. Thanks to Hezekiah, Stef Tataz, Jim Drew, Sao, and Krystof for everything they’ve gone through behind the scenes to make this event happen year after year. I heard NYC was off the chain the other night. I just wish I could have been in the place. I was on duty at Walnut Room but definitely at Beat Society in spirit. For those in the dark, click here to hear the illness. For everyone else, here is a mixtape to show our appreciation for your continued support since 2002.

Here is a clip of the Remix Round from Saturday night’s return of Beat Society @ Tammany Hall in NYC. For lovers of beats and a good remix, you gotta watch this.
Check the homie Bilal’s new video. Airtight’s Revenge stays on repeat in my vehicle. He’s back and below is the official video for his first single, Restart available in HD. Peep it!
The Little Brother show was a success and boy did it feel good to be back at home playing for a nice crowd ready to hear some quality tunes. The official afterparty at fluid was also a blast. Shout to Little Giant, Flygirrl, Mike Nyce, DJ Phsh, Yamean, Tracy, Rasheed, Big Pooh, and Phonte. When we get together, I have too much fun. And usually too much to drink. Yikes. Visit the Phrequency Blog for a bunch of pics of the concert.
Last night Bilal was in rare form in celebration of his 2nd officially released, but 3rd studio album, Airtight’s Revenge. I’m both proud and glad I was able to be apart of the festivities, opening the show and performing with Hezekiah. Support Philly artists that are making original music of quality and substance. If you’re not in Philly and didn’t get a chance to check the show last night, stay tuned to Fusicology for Bilal’s upcoming tourdates. And also don’t forget to support our mixtape. plug.
