A lot of new things are in motion for me this year. Along with several remix projects in the works, the release of the Illvibe Collective LP this fall, and lots of upcoming international gigs, I’m working on a solo EP and a gang of new mixtapes. Recently, I took a break from working all these projects and did a photo shoot with Snap Kracker. Below are a few images from the shoot.  Expect to see more soon.

Recently, DJ Lil’ Dave, Panek, and me did an interview with DJ Metrognome for Ruby Hornet which is an e-zine based in the midwest and catering to the areas of Chicago, Indiana, etc. We discussed the history of Illvibe, our place in Philadelphia, upcoming projects and more. This morning, I had the honor and pleasure of performing with an Ensemble from the Philadelphia Orchestra and Dave P at the Kimmel Center. The event was a press conference to announce the PIFA (Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts). It is scheduled to launch in April of 2011 and will feature music, dance, fashion, cuisine, poetry, fine arts, and more with a focus on Paris circa 1910-1920. This will be exciting for our city as there will be a ton of free events across the city during the 3 week run of the festival. Read more about PIFA Right Here.

The homie Rashid Zakat is working on a 30 minute (or so) documentary on my crew. The shorter version is close to finished and will appear on WYBE in a few weeks so look out for it.
