It’s one of my favorite parties in the city featuring the illest dancehall reggae, bhangra, hip-hop, and r&b. A true multicultural soiree. I hope you checked the blog yesterday and got your tix for the Heineken Inspire event. it’s gonna be poppin off.

Also come and get down with me at The Walnut Room as well. We’ve been rocking weekly for a year and a half and the energy is always bananas. Special guests will be rocking with me and in my place for the next few weeks. More details coming soon so stay tuned.

Finally, my heart goes out to my long time friend and colleague, DJ Randy Flash who was caught in the crossfire in North Philly this week. A fuggin idiot, shooting on the street, hit 7 people including Randy. I hear he’s in critical condition and in a coma in the hospital. Please keep him in your thoughts and say a prayer for his recovery. If you know Randy, you know he’s one of the nicest dudes in the music scene in Philly or elsewhere. I hope he pulls through like a warrior.

If you missed the live mix from Kraftwork I recently posted, feel free to revisit. Tonight I’ll be holding things down again. I’ll only be around a couple more Thursdays before I go on tour so I’d love to see your faces in the place.

Saturday afternoon, join DJ Jazzy Jeff, Marsha Ambrosius, J. Cole, and Musiq Soulchild at the TLA for the Heinken Inspire Event. The joint is free and there is sure to be a bunch of giveaways and fun. The last one with Ludacris and Kevin Hart was insane so don’t miss this one. You may have to print your own tickets though. Be prepared to do so. See you in the crowd.
