A few days ago, me and the homies got together for a photo shoot with Freekugly Lifestyle Group. The new season is gonna filled with Ugliness so to speak.  A bunch of dope new things from jackets to sweatshirts to skateboard decks, we threw it on while Snapkracker took the shots. What’s up y’all.  Hope you enjoyed the holiday weekend and your days off if you’re one of the people still working a job right now. Friday night, Rich Medina and I enjoyed setting the dancefloor at Santos on fire all night.  Always mad fun to play with big bro.  Saturday night was no different at the Walnut Room and also big up to everyone who attended the Neighborhood 2 Neighborhood Festival in West Philly to catch my performance with Hezekiah, Carol Riddick, and Robin Thicke. Although the production backstage was unnecessarily hectic, it was nice to be apart of an event in the community for the local folks, some of whom may never get a chance to see a show like that otherwise.

This week, along with the release of Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 and Raekwon’s long awaited Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II, we offer a sequel of our own.  The second volume of Pure Ugliness, the official Freekugly Clothing Mixtape. Just as with the first volume, I went all over with the music selection for this one. From hip-hop to DubStep to electro-jazz, there is a wide range for you to lay your ears on. What a week! First off, one love to all the folks who came out to check Mr. Lif and I in Boston and Pittsburgh this past weekend.  The shows were mad fun. Big up to all the folks who supported the merch, especially.  For the first time, I brought out the official Mr. Sonny James T-Shirts and people were very supportive. Nice one. While I was away, my man, DJ Phillee Blunt held it diggy down at The Walnut Room. Thanks dude. Within the past few days, I’ve been to back and forth to NYC, DC, Philly, Boston, and Pittsburgh playing and enjoying events. Here are some pics.
