Indianapolis was a stone groove.
Was nice to touch down there again. It’s been years.
Peace to Metrognome, Alpha, and the gang out there who showed us mad love.

Once again big up to DC. My folks always treat me so great down there. Much to love to Kat, Evelyn, Posey, Stylus, and Jamil. Famalam foreal.
Also, one love to Mike Stewart from Philly who won the Tag Records MC Competition. He is nice with the freestyle. And to all my cats in both DC and Philly who didn’t participate because you’re above battling, don’t respect Jermaine Dupri, don’t understand how a bodyspray company can have a record label, etc.: Just know that your concerns made you miss out on a fairly easy $5000 check.
Crazy shout out to Tamir for the invite to Chocolate City. Hope you enjoy them CDs fam.

Speaking of DC, I haven’t watched BET in God knows when. The reason is because there is nothing being aired that appeals to my demographic. That is, intelligent black people who want to be educated while being entertained. For us, I recently heard that Percy Miller (yes, Master P) is getting his Bill Cosby on and developing programming that is aimed at a discerning audience of color. The network, BBTV, will feature health and fitness; animation; financial planning; reality TV; sitcoms; dramas; movies; “responsible” hip-hop music and videos; politics; sports and entertainment news; educational children’s shows; and teen and family programming. BBTV’s advisory board’s members include Denzel Washington, Derek Anderson, DJ Kool Herc, and Will Smith among others.
I will surely start watching TV again once this launches. Big up to Percy and hook a brotha up with a job, my mellow!
