Man, I felt like a fool on Friday. I got caught up in the Phillies Celebration Parade by accident. Of course I’m proud of my city and our home team but I had my son with me. I didn’t want to deal with the massive crowd drinking and acting a fool with him there. We would have been good watching it at home. But I snuck down to City Hall to cast my vote early and when we came out, all hell was breaking loose. The only moron at the Parade with an Atlanta Braves hat on was me. 18 Phillies hats in different colors at the crib and I come out the house with a Braves hat on the one day in 25 years my whole town is going nuts for the Phillies! Stupid!

Then I was so wrapped up finishing up work on Mr. Lif’s album and preparing for tour that I didn’t go all out with a costume for our Halloween BODYROCK party we’ve been promoting for weeks. People all day were asking what the hell was I thinking when I left the house. Oh well…

Either way, The BODYROCK was rockin as usual. Cosmo definitely tore it down and had on the ill Samurai outfit in the process. One love to him for choosing to get down with us on a night where so many other events were going on. He’s a vet.

Last night, we played at Brandeis College in Massachusetts for an intimate but really live crowd and had the pleasure of kicking it with Kwame for a bit as well. What an ill cat…

Last night was the tour warmup. Tonight me, Lif, and Metro rock in Cambridge. I love the new Lif album and with features from Edan, Bahamadia, Vinnie Paz, yours truly and more, I’m sure you guys will too.
